The BD Insyte Autoguard family of shielded IV catheters incorporates the BD push-button shielding technology, designed to safeguard clinicians from accidental needlesticks. Made of BD Vialon™ biomaterial which softens when in the vein, these catheters reduce the riskof phlebitis and increase dwell times. Available in winged and non-winged configurations, and a 0.56" length for patients with small and compromised veins.
