Cutimed® Sorbact® Wound Contact Layer dressing has been proven successfully as a non-medicated, antimicrobial treatment of colonized and infected wounds. It effectively binds and inactivate pathogenic bacteria and fungi. With every dressing change, the reduced bacterial load helps to create optimum conditions for the natural wound healing process.

• Impregnated acetate fabric.
• For shallow wounds and under compression.
• For low to moderate and moderate to high exudate level.
• Superficial wound depth.
• Infected wound phase.
• Indications: Chronic wounds, venous, arterial, diabetic or pressure ulcers, postoperative dehisced wounds, traumatic wounds, wounds after excision of fistulas and abscesses, dermal fungal infections.
• No bacterial resistance: Does not use any antiseptic or antibiotic substances. Hence, treatment is not linked to any risk of development of resistant strains.
