BD GuardIVa Antimicrobial Hemostatic IV Dressing, 1" / 4mm, Sterile. The GuardIVa™ Antimicrobial Hemostatic IV Dressing is a hydrophilic wound dressing designed to absorb exudate, cover and protect catheter sites. It contains chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG), a well-known antiseptic agent that offers broad spectrum antimicrobial and antifungal activity. It also provides hemostasis, using the proprietary m-doc™ compound, to control surface bleeding.
